History was made yesterday at the New Jos Stadium as the Plateau State Referees Council locked horns with the technical crew of Mighty Jets International FC youth team for the first time ever!
The novelty match, put together by the Team Manager of Mighty Jets International Youth Teams, Sammy Adesoji, between the Technical Crew of Mighty Jets International Youth Teams and the Plateau State Referees ended in a 5-1 defeat to the very skilful Jets team that included 2 penalty kicks awarded the men in black.
The Plateau State Referees Council Captained by Jimmy Pam Jerry and Coached by Ref. Abdulganiyu, saw Kitwuna Joseph Godem netting a hatrick, with Peter Azi, Solomon Aweng and Lukman adding a goal each.
Coach Monday Yerima got the consolatory goal for Mighty Jets International Technical Crew with a strike that can make the likes of Ronaldo, Messi and Zidane green with envy.
The return leg of this match will be played in January to welcome the Technical Crew of Mighty Jets International Youth Teams back from break
