It was a joyous moment today as SSI once again produced members to run the affairs of Sports in Plateau State.
The moment came during the SWAN Plateau State chapter elective congress held at Mees Palace which saw to the emergence of Alfred Saiki as Chairman, while SSI Boss Sammy Adesoji as vice Chairman of the Association both unopposed.
Another SSI personality, Rhairom Zamora emerged as the Assistant General Secretary while Kaneng Ladoja takes over as Treasurer both unopposed.
Sammy Adesoji’s emergence as vice Chairman of SWAN Plateau State chapter will surely not come to many as a surprise considering his immense contribution to sports development locally, nationally and internationally for over two decades.
Sammy who is the CEO of Jazzy Stars FA and doubles as head of media Plateau State Football Association pledges to work more harder for the betterment of sports delivery to the masses in his new position.
Earlier on, State FA Chairman, Hon. Suleiman Yahaya Kwande solicited for the cooperation of the newly elected exco of the Association in promoting and protecting the image of football in the State.
The entire SSI family is congratulating it’s CEO Sammy Adesoji and Rhairom Zamora in their new positions.
SSI also salutes the new Chairman of the Association Alfred Saiki and pray for more wisdom in piloting the affairs of SWAN in Plateau State.
The election was conducted under the supervision of the National SWAN Ex-Officio Alhaji Usman Abbas Shehu who described it as peaceful and fully complied with the statutes of the National SWAN Secretariat.
