Team Kwande has stepped down from the ongoing Turaki inuwa Ali Peace And Unity Cup competition despite its qualification to play in the quarter finals, practically showing the essence why the competition was organized.
It happened that Team Shehu Bala wrote a protest against Team Dr. Aliyu, alleging them of using an under age player in a tournament meant for players above 40yrs of age. Despite no concrete evidence or proof to the Protest Committee ,Team Shehu Bala still sticks to their guns.
Inorder to let the unity, sanity and peace the tournament is organized to achieve reign, Team Kwande, despite booking their ticket for the quarter final , withdraws to allow Team Shehu Bala qualify to play Team Gwani at the quarter final.

VERDICT OF PROTEST COMMITTEE OF LATE TURAKI INUWA ALI PEACE AND UNITY CUP
The protest committee received your protest letter dated 24/11/2024 protesting against team Aliyu Adamu for featuring one active player Rabiu Lizy (Jersey No 11) and under age player Jibrilla Jersey No (8) in the ongoing late Turaki Inuwa Ali peace and unity Cup.
The committee then invited the two parties for hearing/defence on the 6th December, 2024 at Plateau State Football Association secretariat Jos.
After the hearing the committee come out with the following verdict;
Team SHEHU BALA USMAN failed to pay their protest fee of N10,000.00 up to date.
Team SHEHU BALA USMAN failed to provide evidences to proved that the said active player is still playing for Mighty Jet Int’l FC Jos.
Team SHEHU BALA USMAN also failed to proof that Jibrilla the said under age player is truly under age
In view of the above, team Shehu Bala Usman’s protest against Team Adamu Aliyu is hereby “Strike – Out” for lack of substantive evidence to defend their protest.
