The ongoing Plateau State Governor’s Cup gets to its climax today as defending Champions, Mangu LGC Football Team and last year’s Runners Up, Jos North LGC Football Team, confront themselves in a make or mar encounter in Group D.
The match, which will be played at the St. John’s College playground by 10am today, will see a Mangu LGC Football Team, with 2 points from 3 matches takes on a Jos North LGC Football Team with 4 points from 3 matches in a repeat of last year’s final.
True to its name as the Group of Death, Group D is leaving up to expectations as quarter finalists can only be decided after the last group matches slated for this morning that might see either of the defending Champions, Runner’s Up or bronze Medalists facing the exit door.
