The Chairman of the Plateau Football Association, Hon Dr Suleiman Yahaya Kwande, will lead football stakeholders in celebrating His Excellency, Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the Governor of Plateau State, on his 60th birthday with a special novelty match.
The match will hold at the City Park playing ground, Little Rayfield in Jos, on Saturday 15th March, 2025 at 8pm.
The novelty match will feature the crème de la crème of Legislators and Executives both present & former in the State.
This novelty match which is targeted at creating an exciting atmosphere that will be filled with camaraderie and entertainment, is also to celebrate the sports loving Governor at 60.
Speaking at the press briefing, Hon Kwande praised the Governor for his contributions to sports development in the state, highlighting his commitment to grassroots football and infrastructural improvements.
“This match is our way of honoring a leader who has consistently supported the growth of football and youth empowerment through sports. We appreciate his passion and dedication. There is no football matter you table before him that he will not support hence the novelty match to show our own little appreciation and to urge him to do more”.
The PFA Chairman, also appreciated the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Plateau Chapter, led by Alfred Saiki, for always identifying with the PFA and its activities as he called for more collaborations.

HE. Barr Caleb Mutfwang turns 60th tomorrow, Wednesday 12th March 2025.
The Governor is expected to take the ceremonial kick-off.
