With the Super Eagles of Nigeria unpalatable placement on the log ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup where Nigerai is placed 4th and 6 points adrift the Group C table toppers, South Africa, Sammy Sports International Ltd, owners of SSI Media and SSI Leagues, takes a cursory look at the performances of seven key Nigerian attackers in the just concluded season in Europe and who will be very good addition and useful to our World Cup ticket chase.
It’s no more news that the quartet of Victor Osimhen, Tolu Arokodare. They include: Dele Yusuf of Vojvodina fc in Serbia and Yenne Tenton of Ararah fc in Armenia.
Bamidele Isa Yusuf, popularly called Dele Yusuf, was on fire this past season for his club, Vojvodina fc, pushing the team to the final of the Serbia FA Cup with his goals where they lost to the league and Cup winners, Crvena Zvezda in the final. Bamidele Isa Yusuf scored 18 goals with 2 assists.
On his own part, Yenne Tenton of Ararat fc in the Armenia premer league, netted 17 goals with 4 assists.
In Group C of the Africa qualifiers to the 2026 World Cup, South Africa leads the group with 13 points from 6 matches played. They’ve scored 10 goals and conceded only 5. While Nigeria on their own part, are 4th on the log with 7 points from 6 matches, scored 7 and conceded 6 goals.
