Hon(Dr) Prince Suleiman Yahaya Kwande Donates Jerseys, Balls And Cash In Bassa As Melvin Fc Emerges Winners Of Zrrechi 8-Aside Football Tournament.
Melvin Football Club has emerged champions of the Zrrechi 8-Aside Football Tournament after beating Forest football club 5-2.
Present at the final, the Plateau State Football Association Chairman, Hon(Dr) Prince Suleiman Yahaya Kwande, who gave out sets of jerseys, balls and cash to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams, enjoined the youths of the area to shun social violence, drug abuse and any civil unrest.
On his own part, the Chief organiser of the annual tournament, Cornelius Huru, appreciates the PFA Chairman to have availed himself in their locality despite his very busy schedules.
He goes further: “We really thank you for coming by for us and we thank you greatly for giving our tournament a boost and also making the youths happy by donating jerseys, socks, balls and cash to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams.”
