Plateau State Basketball Association Gives Basketball A Huge And Massive Boost On The Plateau
In its continued effort to foster basketball development on the Plateau, the Plateau State Basketball Association organized a workshop for coaches aimed at strengthening grassroots basketball.
Held at EYN Technology Centre,today march 13th, the workshop focused on fundamental basketball biomotor abilities and energy systems, and modern ways in which coaches can monitor players’ growth.
Professor Ezra Gunen, the director of sports at the Plateau State Sports Council, who is the resource person, was able to guide the coaches on how they can manage basketball energy systems, speed endurance, and coaching training programs.
The workshop covered modern coaching methods and performance evaluation.
Coaches from different clubs and academies attended the workshop, as it is critical to improving their efficiency and sustaining the state’s basketball talent.
Doctor Chollom Paul Lomak, the Plateau State Basketball Association chairman, said that there are plans in place to organize similar events this year.
