The Afrisportpro Youth League has truly lived to its intentions as the players have exhibited their talents with the hope of rising from Grassroot-to-Glory.
The MD3 in the Plateau Centre witnessed rain of goals producing twenty five goals in six matches with two players registering their names in gold with hatricks.
John Favour (Joecas SC) and Prince Gobum (Corner Flag) grabbing the headlines with their scintillating goalscoring prowess.
In the match between Joecas SC and Corinthians FA which end 4-3 in favour of Joecas with Favour John getting his goals in the 43’mins just before the break, as he continued immediately the 2nd half began in the 47th and capping it up in the 50th min.
However, in the fifth game of MD3, it was Prince Gobum of Corner Flag Fc, who opened scoring for his side in 56secs of the kick-off to record the quickest goal of the league so far.
Prince continued in the 28th min and from the spot kick in the 80th to grab his hatrick.
Both were crowned Players of the Match respectively.
