The Torch of Unity for the 22nd edition of the National Sports Festival, tagged OGUN 2025, will arrive Jos, the Plateau State capital, on Friday 4th April, 2025, in continuation of the tour of the Torch since flagged-off by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Abuja on Tuesday 25th March, 2025.
Representative of the National Sports Commission (NSC) will present the Torch to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, at the Plateau State Government House, Ray Field, by 10am prompt.
The Torch is a symbol of Unity and Solidarity for the National Sports Festival scheduled to hold in Abeokuta, Ogun State, from the 16th to 30th May 2025.
Officials of the National Sports Commission, Plateau State Ministry for Youth and Sports Development, Plateau State Sports Council, Top Government Officials, Critical Sports Stakeholders and the general public are expected to grace the occasion.
