After their absence from the pitch of play in two match days, Mighty Jets Under-19 Team showed all and sundry that the top of the regular season of the Plateau Dream League belongs to them as they reclaimed the leadership with a bang, beating erstwhile top 4 Playoff chasers, Joecas Sports Club, 6-0.
Christian Botmang opened the flood gates in the 11th minute, Abubakar got a brace in the 14th and 50th minutes, before the icing on the cake by Prince Gobum, Aliyu Ibrahim and Hassan in the 60th, 84th and 89th minutes respectively.
Erstwhile league leaders, Relentless Football Academy, despite been held to a 1-1 draw by Super Stars FA still maintained their qualification to play in the Super 4.
Plateau Jets SC on their own part can be said to be home and dry to play in the Playoff considering the placement of other two contestants in Red Arrow FA and Rayfield Athletic. Their 3-1 win over Red Arrow FA over the weekend is more than enough to put them to the Super 4.
The battle for the last 4th slot is between Rayfield Athletic Club and Red Arrow FA; and coincidentally, both sides will battle themselves out in last league match of the regular season.
