In what could be regarded as a show of solidarity and support, the newly elected exco of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Plateau State chapter has paid a visit to the management of Mighty Jets Int’l FC of Jos.
The visit which took place on Tuesday, 14th January 2025, had in attendance the chairman of SWAN Plateau State chapter, Alfred Saiki, vice chairman, Sammy Adesoji as well as the secretary Walkyes Kwakfut.
Mighty Jets Int’l FC management had in attendance the General Manager, Mbum Ferdinand, Assistant General Manager, Salisu Nakande, team manager, John Ladan, marketing manager, Yusuf as well as the club Media Consultant, Jerry Udoh.
By way of showing it’s solidarity and support for the Jos-based football club, the SWAN Plateau State chapter visiting exco made a pledge to work with Mighty Jets Int’l FC and also wished them the best of luck in their top flight promotion bid.
In his response, the General Manager, Mbum Ferdinand, appreciated SWAN Plateau State chapter for the visit and commended them for the good work they are rendering not just for Mighty Jets Int’l FC but for the generality of sports in Plateau State, Nigeria and the world at large.
It would be recalled that Mighty Jets Int’l FC last week Saturday defeated Gombe United FC 2-0 and they are currently putting up finishing touches ahead of their visit to Sokoto to take on Sokoto United on Saturday.
