Gifted and talented footballers on the Plateau will have the opportunity to showcase their talents as a scouting tournament known as Future Heroes Scouting Tournament kicks off today at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium.
Speaking to journalists, the convener and the brain behind the scouting exercise in Jos, Joshua Dabo: “I want to thank God and everybody who have made this possible. It’s been a thing I’ve been nursing and planning to bring to my State for years. It always beat my imagination that our players are not seen rulling Europe and other parts of the world despite the abundance of football talents on the Plateau. And I decided not to bring just anyhow Scout, but club Coach and Director in Europe. One of them coming is Mr. Sloboda Tihomir of FK Saned Joniskis FC, Serbia, among others.”
Joshua Dabo, popularly called Coach Jokay, concludes: “With the backing of the PFA, I believe that this Scouting Tournament will be a success and any boy or boys picked will be taken directly to clubs in Europe”.
Mr. Sloboda Tihomir, Club Director, FK Saned Joniskis FC of Serbia and Agent Divine of Mas Sport Consultant and Management, will both fish out the talents amongst others.
All matches will be played at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium starting from 2pm today.
