The former greats of NPFL side, Plateau United Football Club, will bring back some fond memories when they match unto the pitch of play in a novelty match against Plateau United Staff.
Making this known to SSI Media, the Chairman of Plateau United Legends, Danjuma Isandu, said “Apart from the fact we are trying to create that synergy between the former players of our great Plateau United and the present officials, we are also making sure that the tradition that has made this club a household name in Nigeria is maintained. We are also putting up this match to celebrate with our Muslim brothers. This game is also beneficial to us health-wise.”
This much anticipated game between Plateau United Legend and the Plateau United current Staff, will be played on Saturday, 30th of May, 2026 at the New Jos Stadium, Zaria Road, Jos, by 10am.
Apart from the galaxy of stars of Plateau United that will storm the New Jos Stadium, other important dignitaries expected are:
