The Chief Coach of the Army Football Team, known as Rhino football club, reiterated that they are gunning for the giant trophy of the first edition of the Plateau State Inter Security Agencies Football Tournament.
In his words: “Since the name was officially changed from All Saints Stars FC to Rhino FC because it’s solely made up of soldiers and officers, the team has never lifted any major trophy but have qualified to so many finals, but trusting God and with God on oir side, we will do it this time around.”
Coach Monday Essiet concludes: “Although the Police Force Team is a very good team but we are poised and motivated to overcome Police Force Team today. The final is very important to us as a team, individuals, to the Barracks family and to the GOC because the Chief of Army Staff is also interested. We cannot let the trophy of this big, good and well organized trophy of a competition of this magnitude slip off our hands. I must commend the PFA who are the organizers of this tournament.”
The final of the Plateau State Inter Security Agencies Football Tournament will be played today between Police Force Team and the Army Football Team at the 3 Division Nigerian Army, Maxwell Khobe Cantonment, Rukuba Barracks, Jos by 4pm, while the 3rd place match will between Nigeria Immigration Service Football Team and Operation Rainbow Football Team by 1pm at the same venue.
