The meetings, which lasted for hours, started with the supporters group known as the Dre’s group, chaired by John Nyam.
The PFA Chairman, Hon. Kwande, who made it known to all the factions leaders, the essence of the meetings reiterates: “It’s crucial to have this gathering with you all because there’s a need to put the house in order for Plateau United fc to achieve success this season. You, the supporters club are part of the key stakeholders of Plateau United fc. Hence, the factions must resolve the pending conflict before the first away match in Bauchi State against Wikki Tourists.”
Hon. Kwande concludes: “To bring that needed sanity, the Plateau State Government through the Ministry of Youths and Sports, and the Plateau State Football Association, has decided that the two registered certificates of CAC by the two factions be withdrawn. A new CAC certificate will be registered by the State Government. “
One of the factional Chairman, John Nyam, popularly known as Dre, in the meeting said: “I’ve made several efforts to meet the other factional Chairman, John Pam Sheku, to talk and make peace but he’s always snubbing me.”
It would be recalled that John Pam Sheku was alleged to have taken the matter to court of which he reffuted saying: “The litigation is not against Plateau United fc but against three people who apined their signatures and went on air to assassinate my character.”
The former Chairman, Mallam Audu on his own part said he’s not in anyway eyeing the Chairmanship seat but will not stop in supporting Plateau United fc with his team; of which the PFA Chairman instructed him to always align and work with the constituted supporters club on ground.
