PFA Chairman Makes Mighty Jets International FC ●5million Naira Richer As Players Promise To Safe The Team From The Drop
Players of Mighty Jets International Football Club have resolved to give their utmost best in making sure the team is saved from been relegated to the Nationwide Division One League.
The players made this resolution when the Plateau State Football Association, ably led by its Chairman, Hon(Dr) Prince Suleiman Yahaya Kwande paid the team a visit at their training ground on Friday morning.
The PFA Chairman who was with his Board Members, pointed out his disappointment on the state of the club now despite government Caleb Mutfwang’s support. In his words: “It’s not the best seeing the position this great club has currently found itself. Even when I was the Chairman of the club for 10years without government’s support, we gained promotion to the Nigeria Premier League in the 2003/2024 football season. Hence, I and my Board members put it upon ourselves to support and bring our knowledge and experience to play in rescuing this great club from the drop. You guys have good leaders and technical crew, not to talk of some very good players am seeing here today.”
Hon. Kwande concludes with a bang to the players: “Guys, win the match against Lobi Stars fc of Makurdi tomorrow and get five hundred thousand naira(#500,000) cash.”
Responding, the Captain of Mighty Jets International FC, Saleh Mohammed says: “Sir, it’s a privilege having you and your Board members in our midst today. This is the kind of encouragement we’ve been looking for and I want to assure you that we the calibre of players have in this team, we will not be relegated and thanks alot for your words of advice and encouragement Sir.”
Mighty Jets International fc must win their two remaining home matches against Lobi Stars and Basira fc, with Lobi Stars the first tomorrow at the New Jos Stadium.
