The North Central Zonal Eliminations in Team Sports for the 8th Edition of the National Youth Games, slated for Asaba, the Delta State Capital got underway on Thursday, 29th of August, 2024 in Jos with Plateau State players winning in some sports but found wanting in some other games.
In Basketball female category, Plateau State team lost their first game to Niger State 10-1, while they bounced back in the second game , beating Abuja 9-4.
In the Male category, the State team lost both games to Nasarawa and Niger States 4-11 and 2-16 respectively.
