The current board of the Nigeria Nationwide League,NLO, led by Hon Silas Agara, has reiterated his desire to meet the expectations of the Nigeria Football Federation,NFF of positioning Nigeria Football to the rightful place by the time he would have completed his tenure.This was stated by the Chairman of NLO, Hon Silas Agara at the Annual General Meeting,AGM, of the NLO in Abuja, Friday 12th Dec,2025.Hon Agara while speaking with ssimedia247.com.ng said “Our expectation is to meet the goals of the Football Federation in developing Football from the grassroots and that we have been working assiduously to realise that aim’.The former Nasarawa State Deputy Governor stated that ‘ we have a management on ground who have been working on time, they know their onions and I’m happy with the entire board and with the encouragement,definitely we’ll achieve our aim”.’All of us here have our expectations,we want to leave the place better than we met it,yes,NLO, has been there for long,we’ll play our part and one day we’ll leave and when we are no longer here, we want to be remembered by certain legacies we left behind,that’s what we want the board to be remembered in the next few years that we did lots of improvements in the most important league,and remember it’s part of our Innovations that has earned us new sponsorship and our players named in the latest Super Eagles team list’.The NLO League has been slated to start in April 2026.
