Bamidele Yusuf Kits More Than 300 Angwa Rukuba Youths As All Round Of 16 Qualifiers Get Free Jerseys:
It was all joy, celebration and appreciation all the way by players, coaches, grassroots clubs owners and football fans alike as free brand new jerseys were distributed to teams that made it to the Round of 16 of the ongoing Dele Jazzy Angwa Rukuba Peace Football Tournament sponsored by Bamidele Yusuf of Ferencvaros TC of Hungary.
This year’s tournament, organised specifically to calm nerves in the once troubled Agwa Rukuba area and to also show the whole world that Peace has finally returned to Angwa Rukuba in Jos North Local Government Area, is also to fish out hidden talents in an area Bamidele Yusuf was also discovered while playing for Jazzy Stars FA.
The lucky ones were full of commendations and praises to the kind hearted donor, Bamidele Yusuf. And describing it as an impactful and well-structured tournament organised by Sammy Sports International Limited, owners of SSI Media and Leagues, aimed at youth development and grassroots football growth.
Speaking after the presentation of jerseys to all last 16 teams, Umar Farouk, owner of Farinuun FC, expressed appreciation to the organisers and sponsor for his commitment to supporting young football talents. He specifically thanked Bamidele Yusuf for donating jerseys to participating teams, describing the gesture as a strong encouragement to players and grassroots clubs.
Farouk also prayed for greater success in Yusuf’s football career and urged him to continue creating opportunities that inspire and empower young people through sports development initiatives.
Similarly, Coach Andrew Majalisa of Relentless Football Academy in Jos praises the competition for providing a valuable platform for grassroots teams to discover and develop their talents through active participation and exposure.
According to him, the tournament is not only keeping teams engaged but also helped coaches and players identify their strengths, weaknesses, and tactical approaches through competitive matches.
Majalisa further commended the quality of the jerseys’ presentations before the commencement of the quarter finals, describing them as highly professional and beneficial to clubs that may not ordinarily have access to such technical and developmental sessions.
He noted that the annual nature of the competition could significantly contribute to improved participation, learning, and long-term player development within grassroots football.
The football academy representatives also applauded the sponsor and organizer for their vision and dedication to youth empowerment through sports, stressing that such initiatives would continue to positively impact communities and promote human development.
The Jersey presentations was done at the Baptist Science Grammar School Yantrailer, football field to all the teams that made it to the round of 16.
The 7-Aside, competition continues next weekend at the Baptist Science Grammar School field.
