Coach Nwabukor,New Generation FA.New Generation FA of Umuahia, Abia State,have been crowned champions of the 2025 Dreamland-Abia State U-19 Cup after defeating the defending champions Dreamland FA by a lone goal scored from 30yards by the Most Valuable player of the tournament and captain,Austin Harrison.Reacting after the match to ssimedia247.com.ng coach of the winning team, Uchechukwu Nwabukor heaped praises on his boys for following the instructions given them and ensuring that the defended the goal scored by the captain early in the 1st half.An elated Coach Nwabukor, said ‘I’m excited and give kudos to my boys for defending the early goal.We lost out on the semi finals last year and this time we came with determination to win which we have achieved. Getting past Uchecaria Fc who had a perfect run in the group stage and we qualifying as the Best Loosers, I knew the trophy was already ours to win’.The coach also used the avenue to appreciate the the visioner of the tournament and CEO of Dreamland Football Academy, Mr Ndudi Edede for the wonderful job of giving back to the Grassroots to help unearth the abundant talents here.It would be recalled that New Generation defeated Dreamland FA by a solitary strike from Austin Harrison,who was crowned the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
