Plateau United Football Club of Jos has been tipped to improve on their performance and possibly get to be crowned champions or come second on the log at the end of the season.
This is the take of the former Director General of the National Sports Commission, NSC, Dr. Alhassan Yakmut while speaking exclusively to ssimedia247.com.ng in Jos.
Mallam Yakmut, who also was a former Director of Sports in the Plateau State Sports Council, said the intervention of his committee last season helped the club to end the season well, with the hope that they will build on that to achieve great outing this season but the coming of a new board changed that though they will have to sit with the new board to rob minds for a way forward.
The ex-volleyball International player, said ‘ Our intervention last season helped the club finished well, so we thought we could build on that achievement and build a formidable team this season but the change of management stalled that.So we’ll sit with the new management, marry our previous experiences and their new ideas, so we can get a formidable and strategic approach to make Plateau Utd come tops or runners up at the end of the season, it’s doable’.
He further enjoined the fans to be patient and of a good behaviour as they will see a different United subsequently.
