After the serious search for more gold medals especially from the Star-studded Volleyball Team did not see the light of the day yesterday, the attention of Plateau will now be tilted to the final day of possible gold medals’ haul.
Having raked in 8 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 22 bronze medals to make it a total of 39 medals in all, all attention will now be on athletics especially in Marathon both male and female and Steeplechase female; and not forgetting wrestling and cycling all slated for today.
EVENTS LINE UP FOR WEDNESDAY 28th MAY 2025, FOR PLATEAU STATE.
All events for Plateau State have been concluded except Athletics, Cycling and Wrestling.
- ATHLETICS: Marathon for both male and female, by 7am at designated routes. 800m by 3pm, Steeplechase(female) and Pole Vault, all by 4pm at MKO Stadium.
- WRESTLING: At Civil Center by 8am.
- CYCLING: by 9am at House of Assembly road.
