Kids from eight(8) local government councils will size themselves out today in order to take their respective local government councils to the semi final of the 2025 Plateau State Under-13 Governor’s Cup.
In the first quarter final slated for 11am today at the Government College Playground, defending Champions, Wase LGC Under-13 Football Team will have their hands full as they confront host, Jos North LGC U-13 Team.
In the second quarter final, Pankshin LGC U-13 Team will be up against Qua’anpan LGC U-13 Team by 11am at the St John’s College Playground.
The third quarter final match will be between Kanke LGC U-13 Team and a Mangu LGC Under-13 team that defeated the defending Champions, Wase LGC 4-2 in the opening match. The match will be played at St John’s College Playground by 12pm.
The last quarter final match will come up at 1pm between Langtang South LGC Under-13 Football Team and Riyom LGC U-13 Team. The match will be played at St John’s College Playground.
The goals poachers will also be battling it out to emerge as the highest goals scorer at the end of this tournament slated for Tuesday, 27th of May, 2025, which is the National Children’s Day celebration.

Nengak Philip: 4 goals- Pankshin LGC
