After being deprived the joy and celebration of lifting the gold plaited giant trophy of the 2023 Plateau State Governor’s Cup by a total football playing Mangu LGC Football Team in the last edition, the duo of Jos North LGC and Shendam LGC now have a second chance to wrap their hands around it after qualifying to the semi final and especially with the ouster of the defending Champions, Mangu LGC at the group stage. But the one million question is: Will Jos South and Mikang LGC fold their hands and allow that happen?
It would be recalled that Mangu LGC Football Team defeated Shendam LGC Football Team at the semi final and went ahead to beat Jos North LGC Football Team in the final to lift the trophy at the Mangu Mini Stadium.
The semi final matches, which will be played on Friday, will see Jos North confront Jos South, and Shendam LGC will battle it out with Mikang LGC all at the New Jos Stadium, Zaria Road, Jos.
