2026 Men’s Nigeria Basketball Premier League Starts Today In Jos, Abuja, Benin City And Ibadan As Teams Battle For Playoff Tickets And The Ultimate Prize

All roads lead to the indoor Sports Hall of the National Sports Commission, Rayfield in Jos; Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan; Sam Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City; and MO Arena, 43 Accra Street, Wuse Zone 5 Abuja; as the 2026 Nigeria Men’s Premier Basketball League dunks off today in these centers across the Country.

Here are the Day 1 games all slated for today, Sunday, 17th May, 2026:

In Jos, at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Sports Commission, Rayfield:

Kano Pillars vs 313 Warriors- 2pm

Gombe Bulls vs Bauchi Nets- 4pm

In Abuja:

Nile University vs Gboko City Chiefs- 4pm

Niger Potters vs Aso Sky Hawks- 6pm

At Benin City Center:

Athletes For Peace vs Maktown Flyers- 12pm

Coal City Blazers vs Edo Beads- 2pm.

At the Ibadan Center:

Comets vs Raptors- 12pm

Rivers Hoopers vs Dam Confluence Giants- 2pm.

The top two in each center will qualify to the Conference playoffs.
