NLO Division One: Mighty Jets Feeders And Plateau Under-19 Ĺead As Jos Dream Big fc Finish Bottom With No Win
A whooping thirteen goals were netted in just 5 intensed and end to end encounters in Match Day 4 of the ongoing Nationwide Division One League at the Jos Center.
In the first match of Match Day 4, Plateau United Under-19 Team booked their place at the State final after thrashing 224 Avenue fc 3-1.
Jefferson Johnson of 234 Avenue fc drew the first blood in the 18th minute before the trio of Shamsudeen Usman, Panshak Joseph and Dayong Elisha went loose for Plateau United Under-19 Team getting the goals in the 63rd, 75th and 73rd minutes respectively to end the encounter 3-1 in favour of Plateau Under-19 Team.
In another Group match played by final favourites, Mighty Jets Feeders fc, saw all the permutations reeled out.
Already ousted Jos Dream Big fc got the fastest goal so far at the Jos Center, via Praise Selnan, scoring a beauty of a goal in the 2nd minute to lead 1-0 in the 1st half.
In the second half, Mighty Jets Feeders technical crew headed by Coach Musa Garba Bombers made some changes bringing in Prince Gobum, Christian Bwotmang, Alkali Moses and Paul Moses.
Prince Gobum restored parity with a cool finish before Christian Bwotmang scored a dying minute winner with a bicycle kick that will make the likes of Kylian Mbape, Ousmane Dembele and Victor Osimhen green with envy, to end the end to end encounter, Mighty Jets Feeders fc 2 Jos Dream Big fc 1.
It would be recalled that Jos Dream Big fc, who played their last group match over the weekend that finish last in Group B, are the only team in the whole Jos Center that didn’t taste the joy of victory by winning a match.
