“Asiwaju Go On And Lead Nigeria!” — Hon. (Dr.) Prince Suleiman Yahaya Kwande Gains Strong Support for 2026 Renewed Hope Unity Cup as Chief Felix Anyasi-Agu Accepts Patronage
The National Coordinator and Director of Cornerflag Connection Limited, Hon. (Dr.) Prince Suleiman Yahaya Kwande, a member of the 7th and 8th Assemblies of the House of Representatives, has visited Chief Felix Anyasi-Agu, 1st Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), in a strategic move to gather further support and collaboration for the highly anticipated 2026 Renewed Hope Unity Cup.
The visit, held in Abuja, focused on strengthening partnerships and galvanizing support for the national youth empowerment, unity, and talent development initiative. The Renewed Hope Unity Cup, a groundbreaking competition, is set to engage all 774 Local Government Areas (LGAs) across Nigeria, uniting young Nigerians through the power of sports.
Hon. (Dr.) Kwande, who is leading the initiative, introduced the project with a bold declaration, tagging it as “À Goal Nigeria,” which he described as a clear directive: “Asiwaju Go On And Lead Nigeria”. He emphasized that the competition is not only about discovering football talent but also creating a platform for youth empowerment, fostering unity, and contributing to national development.
In his remarks, Chief Felix Anyasi-Agu, in accepting the prestigious position of Patron for the tournament, reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the initiative. The seasoned football leader called the project “timely” and expressed confidence in its potential to leave a lasting impact across all communities, especially in Nigeria’s 774 LGAs.
