The former Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation, Bitrus Bewarang has accessed the Plateau State Football Association, led by Hon(Dr) Prince Suleiman Yahaya Kwande even as they clock two years in office over the weekend.
Speaking to journalists at the final of the maiden edition of the Justice Christopher/Yusuf Mangut All Stars Football Tournament to immortalize and celebrate the two great footballers’ lives and contributions to the round leather game in the State.
Nde Bitrus Bewarang says: “The PFA, under the leadership of Hon Suleiman Yahaya Kwande has really been doing what people of the State needs and loves best since they came into power two years ago. Organising this All Stars game of retired players is the best thing PFA has done to bring memories of these legends that left the football scene too early. For PFA to celebrate them,will make those coming after then,that there is hope of celebrating them too,in future.”
The former national team Coach of Super Eagles of Nigeria continues: “PFA under the leadership of Hon Prince Suleiman,we will be seeing how footballers will be encouraged to rise again in the profession they love to take part in,with constant competitions.So,the sky will be their starting point to excell.”
Bewarang, the former Coach and General Manager of Plateau United fc concludes: “I want to advise PFA,that in future competitions,let the two finalists be given the names of our fallen legends to give the competition a sense of relevance pls. I thank Hon. Kwande for inviting me to the game and I will always honour PFA invitation at even on short notice,pls.

In the final match of the Justice Christopher/Yusuf Mangut All Stars Tournament 2025 played at the New Jos Stadium, saw Diye All Stars emerged winners, beating Ex Aminchi 4-3 on penalties after the regulation time ended 0-0.
In the third Place match, Jenta Apata All Stars beat Sons of Thunder 1-0.
Prizes given at the tournament includes
1st prize for the Champions include: Hundred Thousand naira(#100,000),
Set of Jerseys and Socks, 30 branded Gold medals, 5 speed balls and a giant branded trophy, with Individual Certificates of participation.
Runner’s Up got seventy five thousand naira(#75,000), training bips,5 speed balls, Certificates of participation, and 30 branded silver medals.
The third placed team got fifty thousand naira(#50,000), training bibs, 5 speed balls, and 30 bronze branded medals.
The fourth placed team got 5 speed balls.
