In Group A, Jaba Queens of Kaduna brightened their chances of making it to the final after overcoming Jewels of Gombe 2-1 to go second behind Plateau United Queens with 7 points, two points adrift the Group A leaders.
Plateau United Queens maintain their clean sheet and hundred percent smooth run after subdueing Bwaruaune Babes 2-0 to get 9 maximum points, scoring 15 and conceding none thus far.
The last result of matches played yesterday at the St John’s College Playground, saw greenhorns, Jazzy Stars Damsels getting thrashed 3-0 by Afunkoyo Babes of Taraba State.
Four matches will go down today in the final matches of the group stage, but the match to watch out for which happens to be the star match is the battle between Group A leaders, Plateau United Queens with 9 points and second on the log, Jaba Queens of Kaduna who are second on the log with 7 points.
A draw in this match is enough to qualify Plateau United Queens to meet Joe Kay Angels at the final slated for Saturday, while Jaba Queens of Kaduna must beat the Tin City girls to make it to the final.
