Mighty Jets International Under-19 Team second choice goalkeeper, Reuben Olamide, wowed all and sundry in Match Day 17 of the ongoing N-Youth League Cup posting a 5-star performance in only his second outing of manning the post.
Reuben Olamide, the former Jazzy Stars FA under-13 goalkeeper, who cut his N-Youth League Cup teeth against AS Roma in a match Mighty Jets U-19 won 3-1, was a huge star attraction in the match between his team, Mighty Jets International Under-19 and highflying Kwara United U-19 team at the New Jos Stadium that ended 5-2 in favour of the “Girgin baba” boys.
The SS1 student gave two assists with his service of accurate long kicks in Tochukwu Ibedu’s four goals scored.
It would be recalled that the youthful Mighty Jets U-19 team days after beating AS Roma 3-1, whitewashed Kwara United U-19 team 5-2 with Tochukwu Ibedu getting 4 to take his goals scored thus far to 12. Prince Gobum completed the rout, scoring the 5th to take his own goals haul to 5 goals scored thus far.
